Republican congressmen, apparently with generous funding from
the Japanese, have organized a national committee to establish a
national holiday in honor of former two-term Republican President,
Ronald Reagan.
According to committee spokesman, Skippy Bluenose, Federal
workers will not be given the day off. Workers will be allowed to
arrive at work 30 minutes late, make no decisions, and take up to
three naps. Congress will not be allowed to meet. The military will
invade a small Caribbean island each holiday. Republican political
prisoners will be paroled during those years when a Democrat is
President and pardoned when a Republican is President.
